Why Foster?

Many animals waiting for adoption are best served in home of a foster family. By providing a safe and healthy environment, the dogs and cats waiting for adoption can avoid the stress often associated with a shelter or kennel environment.

At times, overcrowding is an issue that fostering can help ease.

Families that choose to foster are reimbursed for care-related expenses. While in your care, we continue to promote your guest to the community, to find a permanent home. It’s not surprising, though, that many foster families end up adopting their short-term guest. Either way, opening your home to a short-term foster helps in so many ways.
